OlorinPC.com (A.K.A. Jake’s Corner, A.K.A jakebarnard.com) is written, designed, coded, etc… by myself (Jakob Barnard) in my spare time.  OlorinPC.com has existed in one form or another for quite a few years now.  I actually bothered to first register the domain name on January 1st, 2001, though I have gone by “Olorin” or “Olorinpc” for well over 10 years at this point.

I graduated from Jamestown College in 2005 with a Bachelors in History/Political Science with a minor in German. (Actually I almost have about 90% of a communications degree with an International studies minor… but I just wanted to graduate at that point.) Since college I have been in Tech Support, software consulting, and am employed full time at Goodrich Interiors working out of our office in Jamestown, ND.

While at JC, I participated in many groups.  A few of note and relevance even today were the Student Senate (Where I was a Senator, Secretary, and chair of the tech committee at various times), The Collegian, (where I was webmaster then editor in chief my final year), and a few others.

I currently operate this blog and a few others where I write on various topics, have fun, and just try to have something useful to say.
